Things more important to me than blogging:

Reading my books....over and over again.

Walking.

Ok...not really walking, but running at top speed around my house.

Feeding the doggie my food.

Feeding myself the doggie's food. Yes, 3 months later I'm still eating dog food.

Talking to Mama and Daddy. A few of my favorite words now are "ball" which means anything round and "fishy" meaning my real fish, my toy fish, goldfish crackers....I like to keep them guessing.

Pointing at things and saying, "That?" so Mama and Daddy will tell me what everything is....over and over again. I especially like pointing to my monkey toy because when I do Mama makes this crazy monkey sounds. I'm laughing at her, not with her. Trust me on this one.

Sugar Bug

So I'm not sure about how this really works, but yesterday I had something called a birthday. This is all new to me (it was my first one)...but from what I understand, I got lots of attention, something called cake and lots of wrapping paper to play with.

This cake was alllll for me! My very own cake!

Ok, the bib is on. I promise not to ruin my new outfit. Bring it on!

Playing Catch Up - Christmas Day

And mom and dad kind of slacked on the picture taking over Christmas this year....they were too busy finding a way to puzzle piece all my gifts in the back of the SUV to make them fit.

Ok, so I've been super busy playing with my toys...no apologies here. I'm a baby, and toys are my priority, not blogging.

Repetition

So I'm taking in absolutely everything around me. I listen and listen and try to form words and phrases, but at this point no one is understanding a word I say!

Frustrating!

Anyway, here are a list of commonly used phrases in our house. They must be pretty important because Mama seems to say them a lot.

1) Evie, stop eating the dog food.
2) Evie, stop wiggling.
3) Is that your doggy?
4) Where is your kitty?
5) Evie, is that dog food in your mouth again!
6) Evie, spit out the dog food!
7) Gross Evie, dog food again!?! Gross!

Thankful

I'm thankful for:

My toes - Mom keeps trying to cover them up with socks and I just keep
taking them off. Toes deserve to be free! Free the toes!

Mama and Daddy - They love me, even when I throw cheerios and smear
oatmeal in my hair. Enough said.

Big kid food - Skyline chili, turkey, sweet potatoes, stuffing, pumpkin
pie, dog food...I eat it all! And yes, I said dog food. Don't judge me.

Sippy cups - So what if I like to chew on the bottom of it...every time
I use it the right way cold stuff comes out of it. I prefer the bottom.
