Lions and Tigers and Bears

We went to the zoo for HallZOOween this weekend. Mama and Daddy let me bring a friend, Bella, so I let them bring their friends, Will and Erin.

Daddy held me almost the whole time while Mama pushed around an empty stroller...sucker.

In all fairness though, I can see a lot more when I'm up on Daddy's level.

This time, I actually stayed awake for the giraffes, but my favorite part was definitely the cat house. It may be the worst smelling place in the zoo, but I LOVE watching those big cats.

We saw manatees and gorillas and snakes and fish and lions and tigers and bears and...

....YAWN...

Big Girls

I am a big girl!

Big girls hold their own bottles.

I've finally given in and will hold my own bottle...in fact,

I'd prefer to hold it myself now.

Big girls pull up and stand all by themselves.

Big girls don't wait for the kitty to come to them.

Big girls go get the kitty.

Poor kitty.

Big girls give Mama sassy looks.

Look here Mama. Put the camera away and fetch some Cheerios ASAP.

Mama: Hi Evie, how was your day at school?

Me: Pretty good, I got to eat some extra bananas, so thanks for packing those Mama. Ms. Marilynn took great care of me, as always. Oh...and that other baby I was telling you about yesterday, well, she "borrowed" my rattle again today....sharing...over-rated.

What Mama actually hears me say: Ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ....ahhhhhh...ba ba ba ba ba ba. Pffffffft...ba ba ba ba ba ba ba ba bababababababababaaaaaaaah
