Kiss the Baby

Aunt Aiden got me a UK jacket. I only wear it when it's cold out and I have no choice but to bundle up. "Aunt" Rebecca got me a Notre Dame bib and every time I wear it, I make sure to really make a mess of it.

You see, I'm a Bengals girl. A UC Bearcats girl and a Bengals girl. Rumor is, that Chad Ochocinco himself even recognized my existence before I was born. "Kiss the baby" he said with a smile, looking right at mom's belly (I was in there!)

You can find me on Sundays, hanging out with mom and dad and watching the game.

But sometimes, being a Bengals fan can be exhausting....

Labor Day Love

Well, that's it. My first birthday cannot get here soon enough! (Although Mama disagrees.) My friend Bella Kate turned 1 on Saturday and you wouldn't believe the mountain of presents she got.

Her party was super fun, complete with cupcakes decorated like monkeys....and all sorts of other things mom won't let me eat yet. Yup, you heard it. While Mom and Dad dug into their pork BBQ and cupcakes I got to eat....applesauce...again.

But I did get to fly...which was pretty cool. Mama said my name means "little bird". I think its pretty fitting because I love when Dad helps me fly!

This is me sneaking a peek as Bella Kate opened all her presents. I'm starting my list for my birthday right now....and I don't want all that practical stuff Mama says I want, so don't listen to her. Toys, toys that light up and make noise! And a drum set! And a pony!

And my own playground! Well, get shopping. Only 4 and half months until my big 1 year birthday!

A few of my favorite things

Nope, not raindrops on roses or whiskers on kittens...but here are a few of my favorite things at the moment.

This is Casey ball. We call it Casey ball because Mama's friend Casey actually made it for me. We are talking like "needle and thread" made this for me. This ball is great for playing fetch with Mama. I throw, she fetches. I throw, she fetches. I throw and she takes Casey ball away and suggests we play with something else. Not sure what Casey made this out of, but it tastes delicious.

Mama's bracelet. It's shiny, it dangles on her wrist and I want one. Mama keeps telling Dad that he's in trouble with all the interest I'm showing in jewelry. It, like the Casey ball, tastes delicious.

My toes. They are such a very convenient toy, because I seem to take them with me everywhere I go...and again, they taste delicious.
